Bryan Denton and Stacey Perryman, Court/Case No. Sacramento County Superior Court-12F03149; filed successful in-limine briefing to prevent prosecutor from introducing evidence of Ms. Perryman s prostitution and drug use. Also convinced trial to proceed with only one jury so that all jurors would be made aware of Mr. Denton s background as a violent parolee versus Ms. Perryman who worked as a registered nurse with no criminal history; a mistrial was ultimately granted, and defendants were tried separately.
