IMAT Infrastructure Branch Director

         During deployment, report to Operations Section Chief and oversee technical/repair assistance for facilities while providing supplementary financial assistance to public entities; support transition from National Response Framework to National Disaster Recovery Framework operations.

         For management-directed actions, perform broad-based Human Resources oversight functions including assuring sufficiency of personnel, supplies and equipment, developing/prioritizing work schedules, ensuring that personnel are properly trained, monitoring performance and evaluating staff performance, including identifying deficiencies as well as remediation methodologies.

         Skillfully contribute to incident planning process and Public Assistant (PA) planning including PA Management, Debris, Transition and Demobilization Plans; ensure communication of relevant information to all involved parties, accuracy of publicly-disbursed information, that the Disaster Projection Report is provided to the Finance/Administration Section Chief and that there is sufficient funding availability in the National Emergency Management Information Systems (NEMIS) among others; also obligate/de-obligate Federal Share of Public Assistance Reimbursement in the Emergency Management Mission Integrated Environment (EMMIE).

         Coordinate efforts of Other Federal Agencies (OFA) as well as state/tribal/territorial/local officials, identify cross-program issues and facilitate strong interaction; assure that infrastructure/PA actions align with incident strategies/objectives and work closely with the Federal Disaster Recovery Center (FDRC) to meet long-term goals.

         Consistently assure receipt of status reports concerning PA program and provide infrastructure input to FEMA Continuous Improvement Program (CIP).

Reservist-Public Assistance Project Specialist / PA Task Force Lead, PA Crew Leader, PA Project Specialist
