I am currently in the process of relocating to Utah from Oregon at my own expense. Therefore, with this letter, I wish to express my genuine interest in joining your organization as a (INSERT JOB TITLE HERE).

As my accompany resume indicates, I am a machine maintenance expert that repairs and maintains equipment to ensure machines operate properly. I possess excellent listening, verbal communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with colleagues. My experience includes working with engineers to lead experiments, collect data and repair electronic equipment. Additionally, I have a solid ability to assess risks and identify production issues while developing new process techniques. Among my additional unique qualifications:

  Collaborated with colleagues to evaluate performance and determine how to secure more equipment uptime.

  Created documentation for best known methods (BKMs) of operating machinery.

  Active participant with lean activities and Kaizen teams (TPM and 6S).

  Outstanding safety record, including training technicians on best safety practices.

  Stellar knowledge of Process Control Systems and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

  Strong knowledge of SPC charts, metrology and in-line electrical tests.

  Experience reading and interpreting instructions, schematics and maintenance manuals.

Since 2007, I have been employed by Intel. In my current role, as a Manufacturing Technician (Lithography, Reticle Room), I support the Primary Engineer with developing, changing and performing non-routine testing of products. Additionally, I prepare and conduct tests, gather data and maintain electronic manufacturing equipment. Furthermore, I work with the engineering team to update Best Known Method (BKM) information so new employees have a quick reference guide.

I hold an Associate of Applied Science (AAS) in Electronics Engineering from ITT Technical Institute.
