Professional Experience

    Responsible for all non-op completion/production activities covering 375 wells with 2,240 BOPD/4,850 MCFD in Permian, North Dakota, and Oklahoma, collaborating with non-operated partners to assess completion plans, production projections, and outcomes, and optimizing completion designs in the Anadarko Basin using frac models, production analysis software, and technical research.

    Developed frac designs to address requirements based on well spacing, thickness, & reservoir properties of each well.

    Modeled and designed various types of stimulation treatments (slickwater, linear gel, x-link, HCFR) for all Peregrine wells, supervising completion activities involving frac, wireline, cleanout, and workovers in several locations.

    Negotiated all completion/production contracts to maintain/reduce cost to within 7% of AFE, evaluating completion plans, expense trends, and future well development under purchase consideration.

    Designed and scheduled workovers on gas lift, rod pump wells, optimizing production of 7 North Dakota wells with rod pump & plunger lifts.

    Managed North Dakota production asset consisting of a multi-disciplinary team of drilling, geology, reservoir, & land management skills, implementing a development plan for 8,500 acres, leading team efforts to evaluate and obtain an additional 3,000 acres within the area of interest.

    Monitored offset wells for completion and gathered production data to extrapolate economics for upcoming well construction and operation, working with the team in preparing acreage to be drilled, and providing management with monthly progress reports.

    Evaluated areas of interest for water cut, natural fractures, drainage areas, & OOIP calculations for economics to assist decision makers in committing to drilling orders.

    Authored standard operating procedures covering all aspects of completion and workover jobs for 4 drilling rigs, supervising workers in field locations involving frac, workover rigs, coiled tubing, wireline, liner runs, and working on subsurface, drilling, accounting, and land management to ensure that wells were completed on schedule & within the budget of $500M annually.

    Designed and implemented about 300 hydraulic fracture jobs for Bakken & Three Forks wells across the Williston basin, assisting in developing and implementing projects that introduced new technologies (fluid, tools, and chemicals) that accounted for 20% increase in production.

    Reduced costs by up to 10% on completions by lowering chemicals on fracs, removing unnecessary equipment, etc.

    Developed the master plan for Marathon s 700 well Piceance Basin Asset consisting of 9,000 acre, establishing decline trends and quarterly production forecasts that led to re-evaluating b factors from 1.6 to 1.2, and providing management with multiple development scenarios for Piceance Basin.

    Collaborated with team members to enhance well productivity through improved characterization of the reservoir and understanding gas versus water zones.

    Administered the Piceance budget of $94M, identifying the economics in various production scenarios to optimize rate of return & net present value.

    Managed production of 117 oil & gas wells at the Indian Basin Field dealing with rod pumps, submersible pumps, and plunger lifts, working with pumpers daily to optimize the various production lift methods that decreased failure rates collectively by 19%, while increasing run times for sub-pump and rod-pump wells by 11% & 17% using capillary strings and chemical programs.

    Developed and executed procedures for multiple types of workovers & artificial lift designs, managing daily workovers rig operations in the field involving swabbing, slickline, artificial lift conversions, recompletes, acidizing, and paraffin/scale/corrosion mitigation.
