Developed solutions to resolve complex compatibility issues between contractor and DOD systems and technologies, executing a practical IT plan across disparate hardware, OS s, and a mixed of Cisco and foundry routers and switches
Revived a non-functioning Oracle database abandoned by the DoD upon the closure of Fort Xxxxxx, reorganizing the database, resolving hardware issues, and recovering important historical data that enabled the DoD to perform asset management, asset tracking, and other management functions.
Developed a network leveraging existing infrastructure and network appliances, collaborating with the IT Department of the US Army to lead a full-cycle project management for a 4-month multimillion dollar plan that commissioned a network for the DOD, Fort Xxxxxx Economic Revitalization Authority (FMERA), and the Xxxxxx State Police on time and under budget.
Rebuilt a network infrastructure and data center devastated by Super Storm Sandy within a 10-week timeline, executing a comprehensive project plan that salvaged or replaced server components, fiber cabling, and reprogrammed switching equipment, relocating the data center to a safer, more secure area of the base, and partnering with 3rd party IT vendors to recover hard drives, rebuilt disc arrays, and restore important historical data.
