Implemented three common algorithms of directed single path Dijkstra s, Bellman-Ford, and Label Setting. Demonstrated skill in applying two data structure (Adjacent Matrix and Dictionary) to each algorithm. Effectively compared efficiency of six permutations base on three algorithms with two data structures.

CS456 Parallel & Distributed Processing Curriculum Projects

Implemented Gaussian elimination by Pthread and OpenMP. Compared results with original method with different data size. Used OpenMPI to solve dense linear equations by Gaussian elimination without pivoting. Implemented the algorithm to a message passing distributed memory version. Designed and coded a CUDA-C / C++ version of a Matrix normalization algorithm.

CS584 Machine Learning Curriculum Projects

Implemented techniques for machine learning, including Parametric Regression, Generative Learning, Discriminative Learning, and Support Vector Machines. Trained and tested data set, including evaluating performance and plotting data with chart. Used Python, NumPy, SciPy and Matplotlib to compute advanced math equations.
