My doctoral dissertation, directed by Dr. Madihally Sunder, is entitled Production of submicron coaxial and triaxial structured fiber by electrospinning, processing, fiber characterization and their diverse applications. During my doctoral studies, I had to troubleshoot many road blocks to reach my ultimate goal of developing a state-of-the-art, advanced nano-manufacturing technique capable of electrospinning nano / microfibers that can be used in next generation advanced structural materials. Please note that I also have achieved five publications and participated in 12 conference proceedings.

To complement my globally based academic instruction and industry training, I am currently excelling as a Research Associate at Xxxxxx State University s School of Chemical Engineering where I am leading the design and construction of a dual coaxial / triaxial electrospinning system, including tailoring electrospun fibers with key desirable features such as reinforced core, porous, and hollow structures. Within this role, I proactively study the effect of solvent characteristics in single and multiaxial electrospun fiber, and evaluate the influence of electrospun fibers scaffold surface properties on drug release kinetics.
