I have recently gained my Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology from Cameron University in Lawton, Oklahoma, successfully maintaining an overall 3.4 GPA. During my tenure at Cameron, my ability to perform at and above expected norms and focus on meeting and exceeding goals and objectives was recognized by being chosen for the Dean s List for every semester of my undergraduate career, an honor bestowed on students earning a 3.0 GPA or better.
At Cameron, our Psychology curriculum covered a broad-based study program that involved crucial areas of the discipline, including such areas as the Psychology of Learning, Applied Quantitative Methods which covered topics including correlational testing and linear regression, among others, Personality factors and development, Social Psychology, Experimental Psychology and Abnormal Psychology, to identify just a few of the areas studied. In one of my final Psychology classes in Psychology Research, I was successful in designing and implementing an original study topic, which resulted in identifying significant responses that supported the original hypothesis. I presented my research findings to a large audience consisting of my peers, teachers and University representatives, and received an A for the project as well as for the entire semester based on my well-developed concept and skills in developing the process and facilitating responses.
