    Provide strategic and tactical directions in managing the transportation department serve 120 stores in the Mid-Atlantic region, leveraging extensive trucking background that turned around a non-performing department, eliminating 10 extra Ryder rental units by using key control, effective scheduling, and heightened driver accountability, while increasing backhaul revenue from $275,000 to $325,000 per period in FY16.

    Oversee process improvements using onboard computers, training new transportation managers in 2016, executing a safety program for all private fleets using web-based software, ensuring DOT compliance and reducing toll costs overall by 18% by changing from NJ EZPass to BestPass.

    Completely revamped the hiring process in 2015, rewrote all transportation related SOP s, completing 30 of the 50 SOP s to date, while increasing accountability for log violations and compliance with DOT rules and regulations.
