With nearly 12 years of experience gained in various construction assignments, most recently focusing on working with hazardous materials and mitigating/remediating hazardous waste, I am well-versed in managing operations, meeting standards and guidelines, and achieving objectives.

I am currently pursuing my Bachelors Degree in Construction from the University of New Mexico and I have participated in a wide array of training and certification programs including HAZWOPER Supervisor Training, Environmental Specialist Certification, OSHA 10-Hour Training, Construction and Safety, Industrial Hygiene, RCRA Certification, Los Alamos National Labs Training and DOT General Awareness Training, among others.

My trade skills with various equipment/machinery include competencies with track-hoes, dozers, loaders, skid steers, forklifts, all-terrain vehicles, scrapers, soil compactors, remote controlled excavators and grapples/shears, to name just a few.

In my current assignment as a Heavy Equipment Operator and Nuclear Waste Technician with Dynamic Management Solutions at the Los Alamos National Laboratory, I successfully perform nuclear waste remediation actions that include controlling and loading out solid, liquid and hazardous materials and other waste debris. Earlier roles/titles have included Project Field Supervisor, Safety Officer, Civil/Grading Supervisor, Field Engineer, Project Quality Superintendent, Field Superintendent and Site Safety Officer for the Treece, Kansas, Superfund Site. In these positions I have gained in-depth knowledge and expertise in working with multiple EPA requirements and parameters, assuring site safety and dealing with various emergency situations, authoring relevant reports, overseeing personnel and developing work schedules, performing lock out/tag out and working in confined spaces in addition to meeting other crucial responsibilities.
