Over the past 20-plus years, my multi-faceted career has taken me from successfully earning my Bachelor of Science Degree from East Carolina University and teaching youngsters at the Elementary School level through an Office Management assignment for a major general contracting firm, with responsibilities for managing various financial and budget-related areas, to my current role providing exceptional consultative Sales advisement as well as customer support and service to a large client base in a retail setting.

I was also the major source of support and counsel to my husband as he utilized his entrepreneurial capabilities in establishing and growing a new business. The form of this support, unfortunately, gave way to dealing with an entirely new set of challenges in providing nurturing, around-the-clock care for my husband, who had developed a terminal illness. Additionally, in response to new and difficult circumstances, our two children required extra measures of support and guidance during these times.

The difficult, critical days and experiences are now behind us and I am looking to the future with a positive focus on new beginnings.
