(BCI), a government/private contract consulting and services provider with offices in the U.S. and U.K., I hold comprehensive responsibilities for overseeing HR staff work performance, in collaboration with Operations, Finance and Payroll Departments, in providing strategic business development/partnership actions with U.S. Military Food Services contractors.
Highlights of this exceptionally detailed and multi-faceted assignment include the design of a HR Best Practices Guidebook for use by Executive/Client management, developing executive summaries and preparing personnel performance reviews; I also am tasked with clearly communicating all regulatory updates and developing processes/procedures/policies using ISO Management, and ensuring appropriate HR Training and Development across all levels of company and client management levels. I have developed auditing processes that have improved underperforming food service locations, provided specific and customized training and required monthly status updates to ensure reaching appropriate compliance levels within three months. I have also been successful in reducing compliance-related risks in 90% of all employee relations issues and have reported sustained improvement in those food service locations considered as most challenging.
Additionally, I oversee the work performance of the Leave of Absence Administrator, have developed a LOA tracking database and a dashboard that minimizes errors while significantly improving rate of approvals, mailings and documentation and ensuring compliance with all prevailing Federal/state LOA and ADA regulations. I continually coach/counsel managers regarding adherence to HR-related regulations, lead training classes on preventing sexual harassment/discrimination/bullying, investigate grievances and guide managers on best practices for addressing various issues. I also collaboratively interface with VP of Operations and contractors to reduce/stop/resolve high risk employee relations claims and manage Collective Bargaining Agreements/ Renewals.
Earlier, I served as Human Resources Director for PACE, Non-Profit Economic Development Programs, Human Resources Manager for Horsemen Workers Compensation Investigations, Human Resources Consultant for Continental Currency Services and Human Resources Administrator for Andrews Sporting Goods Retailers.
