Professional Experience

Binghamton University Binghamton, XXXXXX

Research Assistant - Bioelectronics & Microsystems Lab Oct 2013 Present

Ÿ Provided research support to tenured faculty and visiting engineers and researchers in a laboratory environment.

Ÿ Developed a biosensor for water quality monitoring, designing (on AutoCAD), fabricating (on Laser & MEMS), and simulating the prototype, reducing the biosensor by 99% compared with macro scale water quality sensors while increasing sensitivity that can detect 0.01% concentration of toxins (formaldehyde) in the water.

Ÿ Designed PCB and layout for control and measurement functionally, collaborating with vendors and faculty s group to improve and fabricate the PCB and a flexible sensor to detect calcium ions in blood samples.

Ÿ Utilized micro fabrication (e.g. Photolithography, Evaporator, etc.) to improve biosensor efficiency in the clean room.

Ÿ Developed self-sustained bio-solar cells creating the world s highest solar cell power generation to 5.59 w in micro scale devices that harnessed air cathodes without catholyte to save 50% in materials and operating costs.

Teaching Assistant - Electronics & Junior Design

Senior Project Manager - Water Quality Biosensor Sep 2015 May 2016

Conducted university classes for 100+ students covering basic analog/digital design principles, assisting students to debug their analog/digital circuits as well as C language programs, while learning C++ during undergraduate years and designing ultrasonic and light sensor circuits for students.

Assisted 50+ groups with their PCB design and tests to achieve functional light sensors and ultrasonic sensors

Mentored and trained students in using lab instruments, while managing several engineering projects, distributing and assigning tasks to each team member, and assessing their performance in each milestone
